Thanksgiving Madness

So as Turkey days go, ours got pretty exciting.
1. Didn't sleep till 5:30am because my husband has started snoring again and likes to hold conversations in his sleep.
2. Was woken at 10:20 when my husband calls and says someone's been injured in the Ward Turkey Bowl and he was bringing him to me to check--and by the way he was pulling into the neighborhood right now.
3. Said friend had a minor concussion. It took him a good 30-40 minutes to remember the Pledge of Allegiance. But being as no one says it anymore, I wasn't too surprised. But all his vitals checked out and his pupils were equal and reactive and he knew who and where he was, so I cleared him medically and Dave drove him home.
4. Apparently Publix is the only place to find dry ice...and they're closed on Thanksgiving so our family Thanksgiving ended up with recital punch instead of homemade root beer.
5. I don't remember much after dinner since I took a nice long nap on the couch.
6. Dave had been injured earilier at the Turkey Bowl--his left leg got hit and now he can't walk.
7. After taking a warm bath I soon broke out into a vicious, itchy rash, all over. So I drank my weight in Benadryl, and here I am at 4:50pm the next day. We've both removered--meaning Dave walks with a limp and I have random itches every now and then.
