Father's Day in Colorado

A couple months ago Dave decided to surprise his father on father's day by taking a trip out to Colorado. Amazingly we got on the flight (first class, too!) which is amazing if you've never flown buddy pass style in summer. Paula, Dave's mom-in-law, picked us up at the airport and Paula finagled a plan for Paula to meet Terry for lunch. So we pull up to the restaurant right as he's walking in...luckily he didn't see us! So Paula went inside and Dave and I hid out in the car for a couple minutes. When we came in, Terry's back was turned to us and Dave goes running up to him and I think scares him half to death - till he realizes who it is - then it's the manliest bear hug ever! =)

We had a really great time...I now want to move to Colorado. Or at least summer there. No humidity is WONDERFUL. It was great to see all the sites and just get to know each other better. Hopefully we'll make it back sometime soon!

Eat s'mores in the back yard
Dave fishing with his Dad
The Denver temple (I think there were 4 weddings while we were there)
Red Rocks Amphitheater
Driving up to Red Rocks (I think I was 22-23 weeks preggo)
Dave, Paula, and Terry
Garden of the Gods

And no trip is complete without a token picture of Dave...
