So, I bought one of these dolls today. I had been debating and debating - hearing what other people said about it. Then I looked at my hardwoods today...and bought it instead of crying. And can I just say - I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!!!It takes some getting used to (and a little extra time), and it's harder to push on linoleum than on hardwoods - but my floors are SUPER clean. I didn't have to get down on my hands and knees and scrub like I used to. It came up ALL BY ITSELF!
The only cons - I can't really get into corners. And it IS hard to push on linoleum (could be just my lack of experience - it was the first floor I steamed). And I wish I didn't have to refill it every so often...and I am just too impatient to wait 30 seconds for it to steam up...but it's all worth it for the end result. LOVE IT. I should have taken before and after pictures. My floors don't smell like dog anymore!
My next object to try (since it is $10 off at Target right now...) is this:
If it can suck the crap out of corners/edges - it'll save my back! Our regular vacuum just doesn't work very well on hardwoods. Stay tuned...to when I can afford a $60 purchase...I think it was one of Good Housekeeping's Best Buys - but that could have been another infomercial.

So what is the name of the one you bought and how much is it? I guess I am out of the loop, because I haven't seen it before. It sounds great though!
It's the Shark Steam Mop. You can catch the infomercial on tv at 3:30 in the morning. It was $69 at Target. There was a coupon in the newspaper a couple weeks back so I got $5 off...it's still expensive but I think it's worth it.
I'm jealous. I have loved the Shark Steam Mop from a afar for a long time now. I will picture your floors sparkling.
