Many moons ago a friend of mine from high school asked me to make a turtle quilt for her friend after seeing pictures of the one I made Caleb online. The colors were meant to go with the forest bedding theme of their nursery. I really like how he turned out - the shell is flannel and the body is terry cloth. It will shed till it's washed...but I still think he looks cute.
This butterfly I made for Dave's step-sister-in-law's new baby girl. Kate hired me to make it for her baby shower. I didn't want to send it after I'd finished it! It was a lot of fun to make and I love playing with all the colors. Flannel has come so far!
